Market information
Market information is used in marketing planning, policy definition and in the execution of plans and policies. Our products include market surveys, market briefs, answers to specific information enquiries, and marketing guides. These products are produced on request of customers. Naturally, we also use market information as an input in our own advisory and support process.
Exporters use market information in both their strategic and operational planning. They also need up-to-date information when actually selling their products: information on prices, potential buyers, trading conditions and market developments in general. We supply such information on demand. In this case our role is to select relevant and reliable information from the vast amount of information available, analyze this, and present it to the exporter.
Business Support Organizations may have a somewhat different need for information, since they use this to define their intervention policies, not marketing strategies. They will therefore need more information about their sector of operation, both in the origin and destination countries of the sector. However, they may also wish to pass on market information designed for companies.
Our market research covers all areas of food, agricultural and fisheries production. Special attention is given to attractive niches such as:
- Organic markets;
- Sustainable markets;
- Fair-trade markets;
- Quality markets;
- Other differentiated markets.
