There was not much movement in the quinoa prices last weekend at the Challapata market. The price for white quinoa decreased slightly and closed at 1220 Bolivianos per quintal (US$3.91 per kg) on Sunday 2 November. The price for red quinoa remained 1400 Bolivianos per quintal, equivalent to US$4.49 per kg. The price for black quinoa increased to 850 Bolivianos per quintal (US$2.72 per kg), after reaching the lowest price this year of US$2.58 per kg (800 Bolivianos per quintal) last week.
