Last weekend Challapata has been busy preparing for Agroindustrial Highland Fair that will take place this week. The quinoa market could therefore not take place.
Like the prevous week, the price for white quinoa remained 600 Bolivianos per quintal, equivalent to US$1.90 per kg. Red quinoa closed again at 1000 Bolivianos per quintal (US$3.17 per kg) and the price for black quinoa was 900 Bolivianos per quintal (US$2.85).
