On Sunday 5 April the Challapata market price for white quinoa went down further, and reached the dramatically low price level of 650 Bolivianos per quintal (US$2.06 per kg).
Red quinoa closed again at 1350 Bolivianos per quintal, equivalent to US$4.28 per kg. The price for black quinoa was still 900 Bolivianos per quintal (US$2.85).
